:Purpose Means Iasis:

It means healing from anxiety, fear, sadness, boredom, addictions, abusive behaviours. Purpose is the lighthouse, guiding us through the dystopian reality that overwhelms us. Such a simple word and yet, such an elusive meaning. Daily clinical practice, in the psychotherapy office, highlights the enormous difficulty of young and old alike in discovering their personal purpose, the reason for which they have come to this earth.

Following the highly influential, open to the public Conference “Eros: From Half to Whole”, SymperiliPsy NGO returns, for the second year, with a new completely open to the public Conference, on Monday 24th of November 2025, 16:30-22:00, at the Vassiliko Theatre, 2nd 30th Oktober St., Thessaloniki, Greece. Together, we will search for the individual purpose of each of us and turn it into healing, a remedy for our psychological pain. The conference will be fully translated into Sign Language. A certificate of participation will be given.

Who can attend?
● Every person who wishes to explore their individual purpose, the meaning of their life and to understand, deeply and meaningfully, the causes of their anxiety, grief and fears.

● Mental Health professionals who wish to be educated on how to manage the equests of their clients, which relate to existential issues and issues of anxiety, grief, addictions, trauma and fears.

● Psychologists – Researchers who wish to present their relevant research work (quantitative research, qualitative research, literature research, case study), in the form of a scientific poster, at the poster area of the event. The research does not need to be of thesis level to be included. Even smaller scale research is welcome. At the end of the workshop, the audience will vote for the best poster, both in terms of content and design. The winner will have the opportunity to participate with Ms. Sgourou in a promotional video on her YouTube channel in the podcast column. This is exactly what happened with our beloved … who, due to theatrical commitments, will not be able to attend the free SymperiliPsy AMKE Workshop “Purpose: Purpose Means Healing.” So, what solution did we find? Ioanna flew to our small studio in Thessaloniki and honored us by sharing the story of her personal meaning, “Moment to Moment,” with us.
