Maria Sgourou
Psychologist, Gestalt Psychotherapist
Maria Sgourou is a Psychologist of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, holds a Master’s Degree in “Developmental Psychopathology of Infancy and Early Childhood”, from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a Gestalt Psychotherapist and a Doctorate of the University of Macedonia.
She is from Veroia and has been living permanently in Thessaloniki since 2013. In 2020 she founded her own Psychotherapy Center www.mariasgourou.gr , where she and her team work with adults, children, adolescents, families and groups, providing individual psychotherapy, child psychotherapy, parenting counseling, career guidance and administration of psychometric tests.
In 2025 she founded the psychosocial NGO SymperiliPsy www.symperilipsy.org , which offers free primary mental health prevention to the general population, free psychotherapy to vulnerable groups and conducts research in the field of psychology. She runs a highly active YouTube channel, #let_us_talk, where she creates free psychoeducational content for everyone
